Three of England’s great Open Championship links have joined forces to offer golfers from across the world a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Prince’s Golf Club, Royal St. George’s and Royal Cinque Ports – near neighbours along England’s beautiful Kent coast – have created the Hagen 54, a three-day golf trip like few others.

The name of the event – Hagen 54 – takes its inspiration from Walter Hagen’s now-famous 1920 Open Championship practice round, which saw him play parts of each course, hopping fences as he went. Members of the clubs may recognise parallels with The Hagen Hoof, a member’s competition which also takes place across all three Kent links courses.

The triumvirate of courses have hosted a combined 18 Open Championships, as well as a plethora of men’s and women’s elite professional and amateur events, and all three feature regularly in Top 100 rankings.

The inaugural Hagen 54 package, includes three rounds and two nights’ accommodation at The Lodge at Prince’s, which housed many of the world’s best golfers during the 2021 Open Championship held at Royal St. George’s, including the eventual champion Colin Morikawa. It will also include free range balls, lunch at each clubhouse and a two-course dinner each evening. All groups of golfers will be accompanied by a local course guide who will tell stories, add humour and help golfers to  understand why these great courses are so special, beyond the obvious.
