Rosapenna Hotel & Golf Resort, in County Donegal, Ireland, has announced the launch of a new event for 2024, offering golfers the chance to play the beautiful St Patrick’s Links and the original Old Tom Morris Links.

The inaugural ‘Tale of Two Toms’ tournament, has been named after two men who have had a significant and lasting impact on Rosapenna Golf Resort. The first – Old Tom Morris himself – visited Rosapenna in 1891 and was quick to see the vast potential in the coastline, staking out and shaping what would become the very first Rosapenna Links.

The second Tom, is golf architect Tom Doak, who designed St Patrick’s Links, which opened in June 2021 and is already inside the world’s top 50 golf courses. The ‘Tale of Two Toms’ event will take place in June 2024, with teams of four golfers playing three rounds in days. The best two scores from each round will count.

Before they battle it out over 36 holes on the incredible St Patrick’s Links on June 18th with lunch put on by local food trucks and refreshments provided by the nearby Kinnegar Brewery.
